Powerball $232 Million Lottery Winner

The winner of the 2 million lottery ticket, Neal Wanless, accepted his check of 2 million at a ceremony Friday. The powerball million lottery winner is from the town of Winner, South Dakota and claims one of the biggest undivided jackpots in U.S. lottery history.

Its not like he didnt still get a shit load of money. Besides, the lottery is going on all the time, so giving away millions to random people is kind of a negative shift in the economy. And even if he’d only got 100k, he’d still be damn lucky to get that much money just for entering the lottery

you do realize that the government takes 50% of every $1 THEN takes 60% of the remainder. In other words, 232million was AFTER they took 50% of every $1, and $88million was after they took “cash” and taxes. So in reality, they take something like 75% of every dollar spent.
Which is why, buying one or two is fine, but anyone paying these mobsters more than that are stupid.
